Answer
Revised Formula for DMAE Gel with Argireline and Cyclomethicone
The final recommended formula, incorporating Argireline and Cyclomethicone and excluding SiliSolve as advised, is as follows:
- Water: 54%
- DMAE (SkinTight MD™) Liquid: 20%
- Vitamin B3, Niacinamide (Safe-B3™): 5%
- Pep®-Coll (Syn-Coll): 3%
- Argireline®: 5%
- Pro Polymer™ (Gel Maker): 2%
- Phenoxyethanol: 1%
- Cyclomethicone: 10%
Total: 100%
Mixing Procedure
Follow these steps to properly mix the ingredients:
- Combine Water, Vitamin B3 (Safe-B3™), Pep®-Coll, Argireline®, and Phenoxyethanol. Mix well.
- Gradually add Pro Polymer™ (Gel Maker) to the mixture from step 1 while stirring to create the gel texture. Continue stirring until a smooth gel is formed.
- Slowly add DMAE (SkinTight MD™) Liquid to the gel from step 2, stirring continuously. If the gel consistency becomes too thin, add a small amount of additional Pro Polymer™ and stir until the gel thickens again. Repeat this process of adding DMAE and adjusting with Pro Polymer™ as needed until all the DMAE is incorporated and the gel maintains a good consistency. (It is recommended to note the total amount of Pro Polymer™ used for future reference).
- Finally, add Cyclomethicone to the finished gel and stir until fully combined. The Pro Polymer™ will help stabilize the Cyclomethicone within the gel structure.
