Question

I have a serum formulation and would like to know if I can include Salicylic Acid liquid up to 2%.

My formulation is as follows:

1. Water: 43.45%
2. HPMC (Hydroxypropyl Methylcellulose): 2.10%
3. Water: 30.00%
4. Niacinamide (Vitamin B3): 5.00%
5. Allantoin: 0.10%
6. วิตามิน B5: 0.40%
7. ActiveProtec™ OX: 1.00%
8. Dipotassium Glycyrrhizate: 1.00%
9. Zinc PCA: 1.00%
10. Salicylic Acid liquid: 2.00%
11. Centella Asiatica Extract: 3.00%
12. WaterLube™ Slip: 0.40%
13. Aloe Vera Extract: 5.00%
14. Glycerin: 5.00%
15. Phenoxyethanol & Ethylhexylglycerin: 0.50%
16. Tea Tree Oil: 0.05%

Can I include 2% Salicylic Acid liquid in this formula? Will it cause irritation? If it causes irritation, do I need to adjust the pH or do anything else? (I have tested a batch, and there is no separation).
