Question
I have a proposed serum formulation and already use a separate Vitamin C serum. I am sensitive to alcohol and high amounts of fragrance. Could you please advise on the suitability of my formulation and whether I should include Vitamin C MAP and DMAE? Also, what kind of texture should I expect from a formulation using Double Hyaluronic Gel as a base with ingredients like Glucosamine, Alpha-Arbutin, Vitamin B5, Vitamin B3, and Phenoxyethanol?
Answer
Based on the discussion with the staff:
- Your proposed formulation is generally suitable.
- Given your sensitivity to alcohol and fragrance, the staff recommended avoiding DMAE.
- You already have a separate Vitamin C serum, so adding Vitamin C MAP to this formulation is not necessary.
Regarding the texture:
- Using Double Hyaluronic Gel as the base along with the other ingredients (Glucosamine, Alpha-Arbutin, Vitamin B5, Vitamin B3, Phenoxyethanol) will likely result in a gel or serum-like texture, not a cream.
Regarding delivery time:
- I cannot provide specific information on how many days delivery will take. This depends on the vendor's order processing and shipping procedures.
