Shampoo Foaming, Conditioner Compatibility, and Bulk Ordering
คำถาม
I have a few questions regarding my hair care formulations and ordering:
1. I used Creamy Foamer™ in my shampoo formula and like the abundant foam, but my hair feels rough and stiff after rinsing. Are there alternative ingredients that can create similar foaminess without leaving hair rough and stiff?
2. For conditioner, I mixed Cetyl Alcohol (Vegetable) and Cetrimonium Chloride (CTAC 30%) and was satisfied with the result. However, I read in the usage instructions that Cetrimonium Chloride (CTAC 30%) cannot be used with Anionic surfactant like AminoWash™, Creamy Foamer™, or BabyFoam™. Does this mean they should not be mixed in the same formula? If I use a shampoo containing Creamy Foamer™ and a conditioner containing Cetrimonium Chloride (CTAC 30%) as separate products, will there be any issues?
3. How can I order ingredients in quantities larger than what is available on the website (in kilograms)? Also, can I order fragrance oils from you?
คำตอบ
Hello,
Based on the staff's reply:
- Regarding Creamy Foamer™ making hair feel rough: The staff recommends adding a Hair Conditioning Agent to your shampoo formula. This will help provide softness and smoothness to the hair, counteracting the roughness you experience after washing with Creamy Foamer™.
- Regarding the compatibility of Cetrimonium Chloride (CTAC 30%) and anionic surfactants like Creamy Foamer™: You are correct that these ingredients should generally not be mixed in the same formula. However, using Creamy Foamer™ in your shampoo formula and Cetrimonium Chloride in your conditioner formula (as separate products that you use together) is perfectly fine and will not cause any issues.
- Regarding ordering larger quantities and fragrance oils:
- To order larger quantities (in kilograms) than what is available on the website, please contact customer care at care@myskinrecipes.com.
- To order fragrance oils, please place your order through the www.bescents.com website.
Hope this helps with your formulations!
