Both Oil-Fix™ W and Oil-Fix™ O are types of Silica Dimethyl Silylate designed to stabilize water-in-oil formulations. They work by encapsulating water molecules within the oil or hydrocarbon phase and forming a network around the oil molecules, which helps prevent separation and can replace traditional emulsifiers.

Oil-Fix™ W is particularly suitable as it is designed to wrap water molecules inside oil or silicone and enhance waterproof performance, which aligns well with the concept of containing water within a powder matrix. It is recommended for water-in-oil or water-in-silicone systems.
