Simple Makeup Remover (Cleansing Water) Formulation

Here is a simple formulation for a makeup remover (cleansing water) using MakeUp-Wash™ (PEG-6 Caprylic/Capric Glycerides):

• MakeUp-Wash™ (PEG-6 Caprylic/Capric Glycerides): 3%
• Emollient (such as Glycerin or Butylene Glycol): 5-10%
• Water: The rest (up to 100%)

Mixing Method:

Mix the ingredients by adding MakeUp-Wash™ to the water. Do not add water to MakeUp-Wash™.

Usage:

This formulation is suitable for cleansing, especially for washing or wiping away makeup. The recommended usage rate for MakeUp-Wash™ is 1-10%, but 3-5% is typically recommended for makeup removal. If the product stings the eyes, lower the concentration of MakeUp-Wash™.

MakeUp-Wash™ is an extra gentle detergent that forms micelles in water, effectively removing makeup and dirt from pores without drying the skin. Emollients like Glycerin or Butylene Glycol help to moisturize the skin.
