Skincare Formulations for Dry Skin

Here are two formulation options for dry skin: a light liquid spray and a cream, incorporating the ingredients you are interested in.

1. Liquid Spray Formula (for easy absorption and spraying)

This formula focuses on water-soluble moisturizing and skin-strengthening ingredients, suitable for a light, fast-absorbing spray.

• Ingredients:

  • Water: 88.5%
  • Safe-B3™ (Vitamin B3, Niacinamide): 5%
  • GlucoBright™ (Acetyl Glucosamine): 4%
  • Rice Vitamin (Inositol, Vitamin B8): 2%
  • Polyaminopropyl Biguanide: 0.5% (Preservative)

• Instructions:

  1. In a clean container, measure the water.
  2. Add Safe-B3™, GlucoBright™, and Rice Vitamin to the water. Stir or mix gently until all powders are completely dissolved.
  3. Add Polyaminopropyl Biguanide and stir to combine.
  4. Check the pH of the mixture. The target pH range is 4-7. Adjust if necessary using a suitable pH adjuster.
  5. Transfer the liquid into a spray bottle.

2. Cream Formula (for enhanced moisturization for dry skin)

This formula adds a light emollient and a cream maker to provide richer moisture and a pleasant cream texture, as suggested by the staff.

• Ingredients:

  • Water: 80%
  • Safe-B3™ (Vitamin B3, Niacinamide): 5%
  • GlucoBright™ (Acetyl Glucosamine): 4%
  • Rice Vitamin (Inositol, Vitamin B8): 2%
  • LipidSoft™ Lite (Isononyl Nonanoate): 5%
  • Light Cream Maker™: 1.5%
  • Polyaminopropyl Biguanide: 0.5% (Preservative)

• Instructions:

  1. Water Phase: In a clean container, measure the water. Add Safe-B3™, GlucoBright™, Rice Vitamin, and Polyaminopropyl Biguanide. Stir or mix gently until all powders are dissolved.
  2. Oil Phase: In a separate container, mix LipidSoft™ Lite and Light Cream Maker™.
  3. Combine Phases: Slowly add the Oil Phase mixture to the Water Phase while continuously stirring. Continue stirring until a cream texture forms (this may take a few minutes). Avoid high-speed mixing.
  4. Check the pH of the cream. The target pH range is 4-7. Adjust if necessary using a suitable pH adjuster.
  5. Transfer the cream into a suitable container.

Notes for Dry Skin:

• The liquid spray provides hydration and beneficial vitamins, but for very dry skin, it might not be moisturizing enough on its own. It can be used as a hydrating toner or serum step before applying a richer moisturizer.
• The cream formula includes LipidSoft™ Lite, a light emollient, and uses Light Cream Maker™ to create a moisturizing cream texture that is more suitable for dry skin.
• Always perform a small patch test before applying any new formulation to your face.
• Ensure all equipment and containers are clean and sanitized before mixing.
