Question

I am interested in using Snake Oil (Enhydris Chinensis Oil) and would like to know:

  • Is this product considered pure?
  • Can it be consumed internally?
  • If consumed, would one teaspoon provide 1000mg of Omega-3?

Answer

Snake Oil (Enhydris Chinensis Oil) is formulated and intended for use in skincare formulas and cosmetics. It is not meant for internal consumption.

Regarding its composition, our Snake Oil (Enhydris Chinensis Oil) contains 15-20% eicosapentaenoic acid (EPA), which is a type of Omega-3 fatty acid. While it contains Omega-3, its primary purpose and recommended usage are for external applications in cosmetic formulations. Therefore, we do not recommend consuming it to achieve 1000mg of Omega-3 per teaspoon or for any other dietary purpose.
