You are correct in your understanding. The Turmeric Extract (Tetrahydrocurcuminoids or THC) that we sell is a water-insoluble substance.

Since THC is not water-soluble, it is not directly compatible with water-based ingredients or penetration enhancers like PE-1 Aqua. If you wish to use THC in a water-based formulation, you would need to use a suitable solubilizer or emulsifier to help disperse the THC in the water phase. Using PE-1 Aqua alone will not make THC soluble or compatible in a water-based formula.
