Storage of Pro Polymer and Satin Cream Maker
Question
I ordered Pro Polymer and Satin Cream Maker. If the packaging is not opened, can they be stored for a long time?
Answer
Hello,
Regarding adding MSH White Absorb™ to your Pore Tightening formula:
MSH White Absorb™ is a water-soluble ingredient and does not require an emulsifier in a water-based gel formula like this one.
However, please note the previous recommendations from the staff regarding your Pore Tightening formula for optimal results and texture:
- Reduce the percentage of Soy Extract (staff recommended maximum 5%) as 10% can make the formula sticky for combination skin.
- Change Pro Polymer™ Silk to regular Pro Polymer™ as it is more tolerant to electrolytes present in ingredients like Vitamin B6 and Zinc PCA.
- Remove PE-1 Aqua as it can hinder the absorption of Soy Extract.
- Consider adding Zinc PCA to help balance oiliness and tighten pores.
It is best to adjust the base formula according to these recommendations before adding MSH White Absorb™. Always check the specific usage instructions and pH requirements for MSH White Absorb™ to ensure compatibility with the final formula.
Regarding the storage of Pro Polymer™ and Satin Cream Maker:
Both ingredients can easily absorb moisture. If the original foil packaging is unopened, they can be stored for a long time in a cool, dry place, ideally until their expiry date. The staff's advice to not open the foil packaging and to store in a vacuum container if opened is to prevent moisture absorption, which is key to maintaining their quality and shelf life once exposed to air.
Thank you.
