I have a list of ingredients that I want to include in an Aloe Vera Gel base. I plan to make a total quantity of 50g. Could you please tell me the exact amount in grams for each ingredient?
My list of ingredients is as follows:

- Alpha Arbutin
- Safe-B3™ (Vitamin B3, Niacinamide)
- GlucoBright™ (Acetyl Glucosamine)
- Pep®-Coll (Palmitoyl tripeptide-5)
Answer
Suggested Gel Formula for Melasma and Wrinkle Reduction
Based on your needs for a single product to address melasma and wrinkles, suitable for combination skin, and using either Aloe Vera Gel or Double Hyaluronic Gel as a base, here is a suggested formula for a 50g batch:
Formula (50g Total)
- Tranexamic Acid (Trans-White™): 1.5 g (3%)
- Alpha Arbutin (Switzerland): 1.0 g (2%)
- Safe-B3™ (Vitamin B3, Niacinamide): 2.0 g (4%)
- GlucoBright™ (Acetyl Glucosamine): 2.0 g (4%)
- Pep®-Coll (Palmitoyl tripeptide-5): 1.5 g (3%)
- Aloe Vera Gel (Heavy/Lite) or Double Hyaluron Liquid / Hyaluronic Acid Gel Base: 42.0 g (84%)
Mixing Instructions
- Weigh out your chosen base (Aloe Vera Gel or Double Hyaluron Liquid / Hyaluronic Acid Gel Base) into a clean container.
- Weigh out the powder ingredients: Tranexamic Acid, Alpha Arbutin, Safe-B3™, and GlucoBright™.
- Add the weighed powders to the gel base at room temperature. Stir thoroughly for several minutes until all powders are completely dissolved and the gel is clear and uniform. You may let it sit for 15-30 minutes and stir again to ensure full dissolution.
- Weigh out the Pep®-Coll liquid and add it to the mixture.
- Stir again thoroughly until all ingredients are evenly dispersed.
- Transfer the finished gel into a clean jar or bottle.
Important Notes
- These percentages are suggested starting points. You can adjust them based on the specific product concentration you purchase and your skin's response.
- Always perform a patch test on a small area of skin before applying the product to your entire face.
- Ensure all mixing equipment and containers are clean and sanitized.
- Store the finished product according to the storage instructions of the base and active ingredients, typically in a cool, dark place or refrigerator for extended shelf life.
This formula combines ingredients known for their effects on reducing hyperpigmentation (melasma, dark spots) and stimulating collagen production to help with wrinkles, all within a lightweight gel base suitable for combination skin.
