Sunscreen Formulation and Custom Mixing

We do not offer custom mixing and bottling services based on customer-provided formulations. You can purchase the raw materials from us to mix them yourself.

Regarding the formulation you inquired about (Aloe Vera Gel 70g, Oil Titanium Dioxide 20g, Green Tea Extract 10g), there are several points to consider:

• Base (Aloe Vera Gel): Aloe Vera Gel is a water-based gel.
• Oil Titanium Dioxide: Oil-based Titanium Dioxide disperses well in oil-based ingredients. However, the base you have chosen is primarily water-based. Mixing a large amount (20%) of Oil Titanium Dioxide directly into an Aloe Vera Gel base will likely cause separation and prevent the Titanium Dioxide from dispersing evenly. This will result in poor and unstable sun protection. Creating a stable sunscreen with Titanium Dioxide requires a proper emulsion system to help disperse the sunscreen agent and stabilize the cream.
• Green Tea Extract: Using Green Tea Extract at 10% is quite high compared to the typical recommended usage rates for most green tea extracts, which are usually around 1-5% (for liquid types) or 0.1-2% (for powder types). Using a concentration that is too high may affect the stability of the formulation.

Therefore, the formulation you proposed is unlikely to mix into a stable, homogeneous product with good sun protection efficacy.

Creating an effective and stable sunscreen requires a good understanding of cosmetic chemistry principles. We recommend studying more about sunscreen formulation or considering the use of pre-formulated sunscreen bases, which can simplify the mixing process and help you achieve a stable and effective product.
