Surfactant Bases: Pearlescent and Clear

For creating cleansing products, you can choose between clear or pearlescent surfactant bases.

Clear Bases:

Products like the Sulfate-Free Foaming Base (pH 6, Clear, Foaming) and Sulfate-Free No-Tear Foaming Base (pH 6, Clear, Foaming) are clear bases suitable for shampoos, cleansers, and liquid soaps. They are designed to be gentle and sulfate-free.

Pearlescent Finish:

To achieve a pearlescent or lustrous appearance, you typically start with a suitable base and add a pearlizing agent. Products such as emulPearl™ (Pearlizer, Dispersed Liquid) or emulPearl™ (Pearlizer, Flakes/Pellets) can be used for this purpose in various cleansing products like shampoos and facial cleansers. These pearlizers are added to the base to impart the desired visual effect.
