Toner Formulation for Oily, Acne-Prone Skin

Here is a suggested formulation for a toner suitable for oily and acne-prone skin, focusing on oil control, pore tightening, and anti-acne properties.

Ingredients:

• Water Phase:
  • Distilled Water or Floral Water: Balance to 100%
  • Witch Hazel (Alcohol Free, Paraben Free) Plus Allantoin: 50-80%
  • AminoMatte™ (Sarcosine): 1-3%
  • Pep®-Acne (Oligopeptide-10 Anti-microbial Peptide): 5%
  • QD-365 Anti-Acne Complex: 1-2%
  • Preservative: 1% (Choose a suitable water-soluble preservative)

Instructions:

1. Combine Distilled Water or Floral Water with Witch Hazel (Alcohol Free, Paraben Free) Plus Allantoin in a beaker.
2. Add AminoMatte™ (Sarcosine) and stir until completely dissolved.
3. Gently add Pep®-Acne (Oligopeptide-10 Anti-microbial Peptide) and QD-365 Anti-Acne Complex. Mix gently to avoid excessive heat, as these ingredients are sensitive to high temperatures.
4. Add your chosen water-soluble preservative and mix well.
5. Check and adjust the pH of the final product to be between 4.5-5.5 for optimal skin compatibility and ingredient stability.
6. Pour the toner into a clean bottle.
