Question

I am using a formulation with Tranexamic Acid 3% and plan to use it with Transderm. I understand that Tranexamic Acid can cause irritation, but is it safe to use at 3% with Transderm? Also, how deep does Transderm penetrate the skin?

Answer

Thank you for your follow-up questions.

Regarding Tranexamic Acid 3% irritation when used with Transderm: As the previous staff reply mentioned, Tranexamic Acid can cause a tingling sensation or irritation, especially at higher concentrations. However, using it at 3% with Transderm is generally acceptable, but it's important to stop use if you experience skin irritation.

Regarding how deep Transderm penetrates the skin: The available tools provide product information like names, descriptions, and formulations, but they do not contain detailed scientific data on the exact penetration depth of ingredients like Transderm. Therefore, I cannot provide a precise answer to this question.
