Understanding the Dark Red and Orange-Red Swatches of Red Iron Oxides EasyMix™

The two color swatches (dark red and orange-red) shown on the Red Iron Oxides EasyMix™ product page refer to the same single product. They are not two separate items that you choose between or interchange.

These swatches are provided to demonstrate how the pigment appears under different conditions:

• Dark Red: Typically represents the appearance of the concentrated pigment powder.
• Orange-Red: Typically represents the undertone or the color when the pigment is dispersed, diluted, or mixed with other ingredients (such as in a foundation, cream base, or when mixed with white pigments).

Since it is the same product, you can achieve different intensities and tones by:

1. Adjusting the usage rate: Using between 1-20% depending on the desired depth of color.
2. Mixing with other colors: You can blend it with other pigments in the same series, such as White Oxides EasyMix™, Yellow Iron Oxides EasyMix™, or Black Iron Oxides EasyMix™, to create custom shades like pink, peach, or brown.

Red Iron Oxides EasyMix™ is specifically designed to be easy to disperse even by hand-stirring, and it is coated with Methicone to provide a smooth feel and waterproof properties.
