Cyclopentasiloxane (Low-Odor Cyclomethicone) in Formulations

Cyclopentasiloxane (Low-Odor Cyclomethicone) is a lightweight silicone that evaporates quickly. It is suitable for use in cosmetics to help deliver active ingredients into the skin and can also be used in hair care products as a conditioner. It provides a non-sticky, silky-soft feel on the skin or hair.

• Usage: Suitable for all types of products that require a soft and smooth feel, such as skin creams and hair conditioners. It provides a "slip skin feel" when used. Note that it cannot be used in water gels as it is not water-soluble.
• Mixing Method: Mix into the silicone phase or the oil phase of your formulation.
• Recommended Usage Rate: 1-99% (For creams or lotions, a recommended rate is 1-20%).
