  • The standard Yellow Tartrazine (CI19140) (Water-Soluble) is described as Fade- Resist™ and having good UV resistance, meaning it is not easily faded by light.
  • However, for any formulation using water-soluble colors, it is recommended to add a UV Filter to help protect the color from UV light, which can potentially cause fading over time.

• Compatibility with Cream, Gel, and Lotion Textures:

  • The standard Yellow Tartrazine (CI19140) (Water-Soluble) is not recommended for use in creams, lotions, gels, or serums. This is because the color may stick to the surface.
