When mixing Chili Hot™ (Vanillyl Butyl Ether) with menthol to help prolong the cooling sensation, the recommended usage rate for Chili Hot™ is 0.2-1.0%. The supplier specifically recommends using 0.5% for optimal results.
It is important not to exceed 1.0% concentration of Chili Hot™ in your formulation. Also, please avoid using the final product on the face or around the eyes.
This combination allows Vanillyl Butyl Ether to enhance and extend the cooling effect of menthol instead of providing a heating sensation.
