Answer

Subject: Inquiry about Last Fix™

Hello,

Regarding your questions about using Last Fix™:

  1. Concentration of Last Fix™: The manufacturer recommends starting with 10% Last Fix™. While you can try using 5% with 5% perfume, the staff is unsure about the effectiveness at this lower concentration as they have not tested it.
  2. Mixing Method: The method you described is possible:

    • Warm Last Fix™ to dissolve.
    • Let it cool down.
    • Gradually add the cooled liquid Last Fix™ to Ethyl Alcohol and mix until fully dissolved.
    • Once the Last Fix™/Ethyl Alcohol mixture has cooled completely, you can add the perfume.

The staff notes that if precipitates remain after step 2 (adding cooled Last Fix™ to alcohol), you should warm the entire mixture to 40-50°C and continue mixing until it becomes a clear liquid without precipitates. This method helps address your concern about perfume evaporation by adding the perfume after the Last Fix™ and alcohol are mixed and cooled.
