SugarThick™ in Clear Shampoo

SugarThick™ (PEG-120 Methyl Glucose Dioleate) is an effective thickener for clear shampoo formulations. It is designed to increase the viscosity and consistency of detergent-based products like shampoos.

When added to your clear shampoo base, SugarThick™ will help create a thicker, more viscous texture, resulting in a clear gel consistency. The degree of thickening depends on the concentration used.

Recommended Usage Rate:

The typical usage rate for SugarThick™ is 1-5% of the total formula. For most applications, a concentration of 1-3% is recommended to achieve the desired viscosity.

To incorporate it, you can add SugarThick™ to your formula while stirring slowly at room temperature, or warm it slightly (50-60°C) until liquid before adding to the formula. Avoid overheating.
