Vitamin C Serum Stability Issue

Question

I am trying to formulate a Vitamin C serum using L-Ascorbic Acid with the following composition:

  • L-Ascorbic Acid 15%
  • Ferulic Acid 0.8%
  • Vitamin E 1%
  • Glycerin 5%
  • Propylene Glycol 5%
  • Distilled water q.s. to 100%

I am experiencing a problem with the serum changing color very quickly after preparation. How can I improve the stability of this formulation?
