Water and Oil Emulsifiers

Emulsifiers are key ingredients that help water and oil mix well without separating, resulting in a uniform product texture like creams and lotions. There are various types available depending on the emulsion type (O/W or W/O) and desired properties.

Here are some examples of water and oil emulsifiers:

• Emulsifying Wax 1000: A widely used O/W Emulsifier Wax that helps create cream/lotion texture and improves formula stability.
• SureCream™: A non-ionic emulsifier with excellent acid, alkali, and electrolyte resistance. It can be used at low rates and can emulsify high amounts of oil or silicone.
• LeciCream™: A natural emulsifier derived from Hydrogenated Lecithin, suitable for heavy creams.
• OccluSoft™: A W/O cationic emulsifier with a unique property of leaving the skin feeling soft and smooth after drying, unlike typical W/O emulsifiers which can be sticky.
• SoftGel 305: An easy-to-use, heat-free emulsifier and thickener that provides a soft and smooth skin feel.
• Ceteareth-25: An O/W emulsifier that helps build texture and stability, often used with Ceteareth-6.
• Polyglyceryl-10 Pentastearate: A W/O emulsifier used in makeup formulations.
