Cosmetics Formulation Development

สอบถามวิธีการใช้ Laurocapram (Water soluble)

Need help and get help on cosmetics formulation development

Ask how to use Laurocapram (Water soluble).

Postby arissara.nam18 » Sat Nov 18, 2023 3:14 pm

I just tried using Laurocapram in a gel formula by mixing it with water and Propylene Glycol and then adding it to Carbopol gel (which has been dispersed in water but has not yet added TEA).

It was found that after adding Laurocapram , the gel was unstable. It turned into white wax floating all over. and cannot form gel

I would like to ask what is the reason? And actually, at what stage should I put it in or which penetration enhancer should I use instead?

thank you

hello

I suggest you consider using DMI or Ethoxydiglycol as a penetration enhancer instead.

Or you can choose to use Laurocapram , Oil Soluble type, instead by adding a little emulsifier to help emulsify.
