what is the best way to make a pressed powder to obtain the best payoff and consistency? I find that oils change the color and alcohol decreases payoff. Is there an optimal method to achieve a hard cake that still gives great payoff and not a lot of flake off of product when used?

Hi,
All compositions, including pressure applies to the powder create effects on the finished texture of the pressed powder.
You've mentioned "Oils change the color" - can you be more specific, which type of oil you are using? Have you added small amount of lipid Antioxidant such as Vitamin E Acetate?
You also use Alcohol in the formulation? This must be avoid.
