I want to make a simple sleeping mask formulation that doesn't require a blender. I plan to include Cholesterol, Ceramide, and Squalane. Can you recommend a gelling agent that is easy to mix and compatible with both oil-soluble and water-soluble ingredients? Also, I'm wondering if copper complex in quick call can be used with vit c. I've read that they shouldn't be used together. If so, how many hours apart should they be applied?

I have formulated a water-based sunscreen using `PMMA Booster (SPF/Color Booster)` at 4% and achieved an SPF of 51. However, after testing, I've noticed the following issues: * My face feels quite dry. * When applying makeup (without primer), it visibly settles into pores. I would like to ask for advice on how to improve this formula to make the skin feel more moisturized and prevent makeup from settling into pores. * Is 4% `PMMA Booster` too high for a sunscreen (serum texture), causing the dryness? * Should I reduce the amount of `PMMA Booster` or add more `moisturizer` (currently using `Sodium Hyaluronate` 0.2%)? * If I want to help blur the appearance of pores, what ingredients should I add? (My current formula does not contain `silicone`).

I'm wondering why many brands of reed diffusers that claim to use Essential Oils are packaged in clear bottles. Are there disadvantages to putting reed diffusers with Essential Oil ingredients in clear glass bottles? Because, as I understand, Essential Oils should be stored in amber or blue bottles rather than clear ones. I'm asking because I also want to put my reed diffuser liquid in clear bottles (for aesthetics), but I'm concerned it will result in a poor quality product. What are the disadvantages of using clear bottles? Does it affect the scent or other properties (like aromatherapy)? Or, if it's possible to use clear bottles, are special ingredients required?

I have a question about a BHA Toner formulation I recently mixed. The formula is as follows: **Ingredients:** 1. Complex Salicylic Acid (Powder, Water-Soluble) 5% 2. Pure-Succinic™ (Succinic Acid, High-Purity) 2% 3. EDTA 0.2% 4. Water Remaining amount **Procedure:** 1. Weigh ingredients 2 and 3, add to water, and stir until clear solution is formed. (This step had no issues; 2 and 3 dissolved easily in water.) 2. Weigh ingredient 1 and add to water. Complex Salicylic Acid (Powder, Water-Soluble) precipitated immediately. **Questions:** 1. Why did Complex Salicylic Acid (Powder, Water-Soluble) precipitate? This is despite the website stating it is water-soluble Salicylic Acid and not mentioning it should not be used with Pure-Succinic™ or EDTA. 2. Do I need to discard the BHA Toner where Salicylic Acid precipitated? I am concerned that the toner will not be effective in dissolving clogged pores. Thank you in advance for your answer.
