Hello, I need advice on fixing a cream made from 220g shea butter, 220g fractionated coconut oil, and 2 tsp essential oil. I intended to make a body lotion, but when I whip it, it doesn't blend together and feels like oil when touched. The result is an oily cream. How can I fix this? I have a custom serum formula called "Anti Dark Spot Plus Maxi Nourish Serum" (accessed via this link: https://www.myskinrecipes.com/recipes/% ... ish-serum/). The expected effects for this serum formula are Anti pigmentation, Anti wrinkles, Anti-Pollution, Increase skin elasticity, Visible Light Protection, Repair skin cells, Stimulate the division of fibroblasts, Skin whitening and firming. After trying the produced serum for about 1 week, applying it morning and evening, the results observed are: wrinkles look reduced, facial skin is firmer, facial skin is brighter, and melasma looks lighter. However, the drawbacks of the serum are: the serum's smell is similar to a chemical smell, the smell is very strong and lingers on the face all day (requiring a lot of patience to use), and the face feels uncomfortable after applying the serum, possibly due to too many ingredients (this is a hypothesis, I'm not sure of the exact cause). I would like to request R&D to help develop the formula. 1. I want to know which ingredient in the serum is causing the strong smell. If this ingredient is removed, will the serum formula still achieve the expected results mentioned above?
