I am making soap by mixing "sugar fix" at 2% with Fragrance, and then adding this mixture at 1% to the soap base. I found that after leaving the soap for a while, sticky granules appeared around the soap, as shown in the picture. I would like to ask what caused this problem. Thank you.

I want to create a W/O formulation using: * Mineral Oil (Paraffinum Liquidum) 35% * Liquid Germall Plus 1% * DI Water 62% * Water in Oil EZ 2% (initially, adjusted up to maximum %) * Magnesium Sulfate (also tried) I have tried adjusting the oil percentage (increasing/decreasing) and increasing the percentage of Water in Oil EZ to its maximum, and also used Magnesium Sulfate, but the formulation still separates. I need a water-in-oil emulsifier that prevents separation with Mineral Oil. What emulsifier do you recommend, and what is the recommended usage percentage? ***Note: I do not need to include other active ingredients as this is intended only as a W/O cream base for research purposes.

I want to add sun protection and whitening properties to my favorite body lotion. I plan to use Zinc Oxide, Titanium Dioxide, and Alpha Arbutin. 1. Can I mix **ซิ้งออกไซด์นาโนลิควิด**, **ไทเทเนียมไดออกไซนาโนลิควิด**, and **อัลฟ่าอบูติน** into the lotion without using heat? 2. What ratio should I use if the lotion volume is 500มล? 3. Are there any sunscreen bases that provide good sun protection and are not greasy?

Hello, Are **Polysorbate 20** and **PEG-40 Hydrogenated Castor Oil** both emulsifiers/solubilizers for water and oil that can make a formula clear in the same way? Is there a way to choose which one to use? I’m going to make shampoo and serum, and I’m not sure which one I should buy. Thank you.

Hello! I would like to ask about the dissolution method. I have tried dissolving **Glabridin 40%** at a concentration of `0.05%` in **Butylene Glycol** at `2%` and mixed them together. However, the **Glabridin** did not dissolve completely; there are still particles dispersed in the glycol. I would like to know if **Glabridin** should actually dissolve until it is clear, and what additional methods should be used to help with the dissolution? Thank you.

I heard from a dermatologist that mineral sunscreens like TD / Zinc Oxide should not be used in spray form because particles can be inhaled. I am considering using `Titanium Dioxide Water Disperse` for a face spray sunscreen. Since this product is a liquid dispersion, I am unsure if its particles are small enough to be inhaled into the lungs when sprayed. Can `Titanium Dioxide Water Disperse` be used for a face spray sunscreen?

I need advice on a formula. I want a concentrated gel serum texture that is moisturizing, comfortable on the skin, and fast-absorbing. The formula I made resulted in a liquid-thick, uncomfortable texture and also turned yellow very quickly, despite using several preservatives and stabilizers. I would like advice on the formula. Ingredients used: * Activated Resorcinol™ 1% * Protec™ SQ 5% * Phospholipid * Dimethyl Isosorbide (DMI) * 1,2-Hexanediol * Laurocapram * Pure-Apigenin™ * Tocotrienols * pentylene glycol * Caprylyl Glycol * Mild Preserved Eco™ * Allantoin * Hyaluronic Acid * PaeoniaPreserve™ * Ethylhexylglycerin * Protec™ OX * Eye Preserved™ * Protec™ UV * Thyme Kill™

I have a question about why oil separates on the surface of my lip balm (packaged in a container). Could it be because I poured it when it was hot? I have a serum that I'm testing. It claims to reduce acne, wrinkles, and melasma/freckles, leaving skin smooth, soft, bright, and clear. Some users have had satisfactory results, but others have experienced a significant increase in clogged pores, darker melasma/freckles, and noticeably duller/darker skin. This is very strange, and I would like to know what factors in this formula could cause such different results? Here is the formula: * Deionized water 79.79% * coconut Glycerin 2.510% * cucurbita pepo Seed oil, Silk Amino acid 1.760% * Sunflower Seed Oil, pomergranate seed extract, tamarind seed extract 1.15% * Macadamia Seed oil 1.610% * Olive fruit extract 1.294% * Copaiba Oil 0.940% * Cetearyl Alcohol, Coco Glucoside, Behentrimonium sulfate 0.600% * Bamboo leaf extract 0.5% * Hydrolyzed rice protein, Glyceryl Stearate, Phenoxyethanol 0.500% * Geranium Oil 0.050% * Tocopherol 0.050% * Aloe Barbadensis Leaf Extract 0.020% * Disodium EDTA 0.010% Thank you very much.
