Product Description:
Sodium tetraborate is widely used as a cleaning agent in household products, particularly in laundry detergents and multipurpose cleaners, due to its ability to soften water and enhance the effectiveness of surfactants. It is also employed in the manufacturing of glass and ceramics, where it acts as a flux to lower the melting point of silica, improving the durability and thermal resistance of the final products. In the agricultural sector, it serves as a micronutrient fertilizer to correct boron deficiencies in soil, promoting healthy plant growth. Additionally, it is utilized in the formulation of insecticides and wood preservatives, offering protection against pests and fungal decay. In the cosmetics industry, it is found in some skin care products for its mild antiseptic and buffering properties.
