Hydroxyethyl Cellulose (HEC) (2000mPa.s) (Super Clear Gel)
- Product Code: 10618
HEC forms a gel texture. Without the effect of electrolyte, it is suitable for formulation of gels with special electrolyte characteristics. in helping create bubbles In skin cleaning formulas such as shampoo or liquid soap, it is commonly used to create gel texture in shampoo or liquid soap.
Ultra clear, viscous at 2,000 mPa s (cPs) at 1% in water.

Hydroxyethyl Cellulose (HEC) forms a non-ionic gel without the effect of electrolyte, suitable for formulations containing electrolyte.
Please use to create gel texture in cleaning formula (shampo, liquid soap). Recommended to use. HPMC because it can help increase bubbles as well
Specifications
-Provides a viscosity of 2,000 mPa s (cPs) at 1% in water.
- Melts and forms a gel at about 70 degrees and dissolves well in the pH range of 8-9. The pH can be adjusted with alkali for easy dissolution, then adjust the pH down.
- Can be used in formulations that are acidic down to pH 3 and alkaline up to pH 9.
- no smell
How to use:
Warm the water to 70 degrees, stir the water and gradually sprinkle the HEC powder into the hot water and continue to blend until it is completely dissolved. will get gel texture / or / Blend to disperse in cold water. Then heat up to 70 degrees while spinning continuously. when heat 70 degrees and then turn off the heat Blend continuously until cool.
The company sells various types of non-ionic gelling agents as follows:
1. Hydroxypropyl Methylcellulose (HPMC, USA) It is a gel texture that gives a beautiful gel texture that is easy to use.
2. Hydroxypropyl Methylcellulose (HPMC, China) It is an economical gelling agent. Able to provide high viscosity
3. Hydroxyethyl Cellulose (HEC, USA) It is a gel texture that gives a beautiful gel texture that is easy to use. Moderate thickening
Use: for all kinds of products who want to increase viscosity Add gel (thickening)
How to mix: Mix in water (water-phase) by using heat to 70 degrees and stirring constantly. until the gel is formed
Utilization rate: 0.5-3% (depending on the required viscosity)
Product characteristics: white powder
Solubility: Can be dissolved in warm water (70 degrees).
Storage: For long-term storage Store at room temperaturedo not expose to sunlight and avoid moisture
