Silica is designed to act as a thickening / gelling in oil or glycol by being able to give a clear texture. It can reduce gooey, matt and prevent formula separation or oil separation from formula.

Oil-Fix™ O is Silica that is designed to act as a thickening / gelling in oil or glycol.

Oil-Fix™ O can be used as a stabilizer in water-in-oil formulations as it stabilizes the external phase (oil) for better stability of the internal phase (water).

*In case of wanting to increase the stability of oil-in-water formulations, please consider using. ClayThick™ instead* 

Oil-Fix™ O also helps refine any formula. to have the following characteristics:

- to be dry reduce gooey (Use level greater than 1.5%) Suitable for any cream formulation.

- Reduced foaming in formulas (Use of a level greater than 0.5%)

- Gives a matte finish (use level 0.5-4%). Suitable for Lip, Liquid Foundation, BB/CC.

- Solve formula separation problems, such as oil bleeding from lipstick (like sweating from a lipstick stick).

Oil-Fix™ type O/S/W can be used as an oil thickener to create an oil gel texture by helping to thicken oils or silicones as follows:

- Vegetable oil (Any natural oil such as Rose HIp Oil, Jojoba Oil) to use Oil-Fix™ O or Oil-Fix™ W

- Silicone Oil (eg Dimethicone, Cyclomethicone) to use Oil-Fix™ S   or Oil-Fix™ W

- Isododecane , Isohexadecane and any -decane group to use Oil-Fix™ W

- Polyethylene glycol, Propylene glycol, Butylene glycol or other glycol. to use Oil-Fix™ O or Oil-Fix™ W

Tips for choosing different types of Oil-Fix™:

make-up formulas (lip, foundation, or in any form) that require good waterproof performance. Oil-Fix™ W

Generic make-up (lip, foundation, or in any form) formula does not require waterproof enhancement. Oil-Fix™ O or Oil-Fix™ S

water-in-oil formula (or water-in-oil+silicone but mainly oil)   General skin care products choose to use Oil-Fix™ O

water-in-silicone formula (or water-in-oil+silicone, but mainly silicone) general skin care products choose to use Oil-Fix™ S

The massage oil formula depends on the oil used in the formula. Use it according to the instructions above.

Oil-Fix™ O Operation Description

1. Oil-Fix™ O is characterized by its attraction to each other. This is useful for increasing the stability of the formula. But when it is pressed or crushed (event when user applied to the skin), the structure will be separated from each other. Ready to be spread easily on the skin.

2. Oil-Fix™ O encapsulates water molecules inside. Oil-Fix™ and form a network around it. oil molecules Therefore, it can help to act as a replacement for any kind of emulsifier as well. and prevent separation of the formula



Oil-Fix™ is silica, but it doesn't give a smooth feel like other types of silica, such as MatteSilica

Use: For all water-in-oil products that need to increase stability. or adjust the texture of the skin (texture/skin-feel)

Mixing method: Disperse in any formulations containing oils, silicones, or Hydrocarbons.

Usage rate: 0.5-10%

Product characteristics: White powder, very light texture.

Solubility: Can be dispersed in any formulations containing oils, silicones, or Hydrocarbons.

Storage: can be stored at room temperature But close the lid of the bottle tightly. and protected from sunlight or heat, the product has a shelf life of at least 2 years
