Silica is designed to increase the stability of any water-in-oil cream formula. Oil-Fix™ encapsulates water molecules within the oil, making any water-in-oil formula more stable.

Oil-Fix™ W has an advantage over other types of Oil-Fix™ in that it can increase the waterproof performance of the formula. Even better, Oil-Fix™ W has a very waterproof surface.

Silica is designed to act as a thickening / gelling in oil or glycol by being able to give a clear texture. It can reduce gooey, matt and prevent formula separation or oil separation from formula.

It provides a thixotropic thickening (meaning when shear force is applied, the viscosity of the substance decreases, but when the force is stopped, the viscosity returns to its original state) flow characteristic which is suitable for all types of cosmetics, especially any type of make-up.

Acts as a thickening/gelling agent in oils, silicones, and water.

Developed to be similar to Plantasil LA, with the advantage of having a lower pH (LA-Gel's pH is in the range of 9-11 to avoid skin irritation).
