Cocoa butter replacer Cocoa butter is made from vegetable oil/wax to be like natural fat from cocoa beans, which has been bleached and deodorized. It contains antioxidants, helps protect the skin from various pollutants that harm the skin, such as toxic fumes or sunlight, etc. It is popularly used as an ingredient in cosmetics, shampoos, soaps, and skin care creams. It helps restore and nourish the skin to be moist, soft, smooth, healthy, and highly elastic, especially for dry, sensitive, and easily irritated skin. Because it is absorbed into the inner skin quickly and easily, it helps retain moisture in the skin, reduces wrinkles, and helps soften scars, such as stretch marks caused by pregnancy.
Deodorized Cocoa Butter, which has been bleached and scented, will have a mild cocoa scent and a light yellow color. Compared to regular cocoa butter, it has a clearer and much darker color. The bleached and scented type is therefore suitable for mixing in cosmetics without affecting the color and scent of the cosmetics. Furthermore, importantly, it will last longer and will not develop a rancid smell as easily as regular types.
