p-Anisic acid acts to help control infection in formulas. Suitable for use with other preservatives, including used in conjunction with Mild Preserved Eco to increase efficiency and can also claim Preservative-free formula (because both p-Anisic acid and Mild Preserved Eco are not considered preservatives)
p-Anisic acid is a naturally occurring substance (from aniseed or candle sattabut), but the type that the company sells is a synthetic type. to have the same structure as those found in nature (natural identical).
Instructions for use of p-Anisic acid, please study carefully before use.
1. p-Anisic acid has limited solubility in water. It is soluble to approximately 0.1% at pH 4.5 and increases to approximately 0.4% at pH 6 (solubility increases gradually from 0.1% to 0.4% as pH increases).
2. The formula must have a pH in the range of 4.5-6.0. If the pH is higher than this, p-Anisic acid will lose its quality.
3. If there is glycerin or glycol, mix with p-Anisic acid, it will be easier to dissolve.
4. If there is any kind of surfactant or emulsifier in the formula, mix it. p-Anisic acid with it will be easier to dissolve.
Microorganism MIC Level at 0.40% can control all types of bacteria (broad spectrum)
Pseudom. aerug. , Staph. aureus , Candida albicans , Asperg. bras. , Escherichia coli
Use: for any product by acting to enhance the efficiency of infection control
Mixing method: Please consult the information above. The pH of the formula should be in the range of 4.5-6.0.
Usage rate: 0.1-0.4% (recommended 0.3-0.4% in combination with other preservatives)
Product characteristics: white powder
Solubility: limited solubility in water
Storage: The product has a shelf life of 2 years, stored at room temperature. Avoid sunlight and heat.
