Hello, I want to create a clear, water-free, very light/dry, very water-resistant, sweat-resistant, long-lasting sunscreen. This probably means that it will have to be alcohol-based (like "Nivea SUN - UV Dry Protect transparent"). However, I don't know how to best dissolve this oil soluble "SPF Protect Ultra III" in alcohol. 1. Can you please provide a complete recipe (amounts and steps) for the described sunscreen with 25% "SPF Protect Ultra III"? I want it to be super light/dry + super water-resistant and of course stable. 2. Can you please provide another recipe with the same requirements as above, but also including: - 1% "Vitamin A Palmitate (retinyl palmitate, 1MIU/g)" - 1% "Perfect-C™ (Ascorbyl Tetraisopalmitate, VC-IP/Tetra C)" - 1% "Vitamin E (dl-alpha tocopherol)" - and whatever necessary to have a stable product. Hello, I want to know how to make gommage peeling clear gel. I am trying so far, erasing/balling effect didn't come out. I used carbomer (2%) and CTAC (2%). Another test was with carbomer and esterquats which not missing well. Latest test: - Carbomer(940) (2%) 10g - CTAC (30% liquid) 3g - TEA q.s - pH 6
I want to make a body oil. If I want the oil to absorb quickly, what chemical or booster should I add to help it absorb faster than using oil alone, without feeling thick or heavy on the skin? Current formula: 1. Refined coconut oil MCT oil 50% 2. Squalane oil 30% 3. Tea seed oil 10% 4. Olive oil 10% Answer to question 2: Silicone can be used, but I’d like it to be low-clogging. Answer to question 3: I’d like a day oil texture, light and slippery. Answer to question 4: Fragrance is included. But there are no actives yet. Please recommend some too.
For Minoxol Aqua™, I had bought quite a lot, and after some time it became so hard that I had to smash it to use it. After that, I put the whole lump into water and left it dissolved, to make it easier to measure for use. It turned out that after some time, the dissolved water changed color to brown and also formed sediment at the bottom of the bottle. So I’d like to ask: 1. How should it be stored so it doesn’t harden? 2. If it has hardened, can I smash it and use it? 3. Once dissolved, can it be kept dissolved for use next time?
