I would like to ask about Active Ingredients that can be included in a Cold Process cream formulation for facial application. I'm looking for ingredients that are not too expensive. I want to formulate a facial cream that can help with exfoliation, skin brightening, or wrinkle reduction, any one of these benefits is fine. Are there any other recommendations?
I want to make a natural diffuser using Essential Oil as the fragrance. Based on what I've read, most recipes use a mix of base oil + alcohol (ethanol) + Essential Oil. However, the result I got is phase separation (water and oil layers), and when shaken, the color becomes cloudy. How can I prevent separation and cloudiness? Please recommend ingredients for a clear, natural formula. Thank you.
I would like to make a disinfectant solution for cleaning objects. 1. Can I mix 2% of `Chloroxylenol (PCMX) (15% Water Soluble)` with the remaining water and use it directly? Are other ingredients necessary in the formula? 2. For usage, if I further dilute it with about 1 liter of water, will it still be effective for disinfection? Please advise. Thank you.

I want to develop a serum that can treat **clogged pores**, **inflammatory acne**, and **blackheads**, while also strengthening the skin. What are the main ingredients that would provide the most visible results? For example, **Niacinamine B3**, **Zinc PCA**.
Regarding **PCMX** (Chloroxylenol): When dissolving it with glycol or alcohol, it appears clear and dissolves well. However, when poured into water, it becomes cloudy with white, gritty clumps, feeling rough like it hasn't dissolved. What should be done to resolve this issue? I intend to use it to make a hand spray, and if it doesn't dissolve like this, it will likely clog the bottle's nozzle.
I have combination skin that is sometimes dry and rough, oily in hot weather, and dehydrated. What is the dilution ratio for mixing Silver Nano Solution (2000ppm) with water for disinfection spraying?
I am making a disinfectant formula with the following composition (%): 1. Propylene Glycol: 2 2. Glycerin: 0.5 3. Butylene Glycol: 3 4. vite: 0.1 5. B5: 0.1 6. PCMX: 0.5 7. 95%alcohol: 3 8. Add water to make up to 100% Mixing Procedure: Mix 1, 2, 3, 4, 6, 7 and stir until PCMX dissolves. Then pour into water that has dissolved 5. Problem: After mixing, a sediment similar to the attached picture forms, which feels oily when rubbed. I thought it might be due to vite, so I adjusted the formula by not adding Vitamin E, but the problem persisted. - I also tried changing the two types of glycol to only Propylene Glycol 5% and adding 95% alcohol 5% to help dissolve PCMX, but the sediment still formed. Questions: 1. Could you please advise on how to fix this problem and what is causing it? 2. If I still want to make a disinfectant formula with 0.5% PCMX, what is the solution? 3. Does the mixture still have disinfectant efficacy despite the sediment? The problem is similar to Product Name (https://www.myskinrecipes.com/topic11445.html)

May I ask a question? I intended to make hand sanitizer gel to give away and have already started mixing it. After adding Carbopol and ethanol together, I then added TEA at 30ml (production ratio 10,000 milliliters), but suddenly while adding TEA, the color of the liquid became cloudy and it turned out that it did not become a gel at all, but became liquid instead. What is the cause of this? And is there any way to fix it so it becomes a gel again and can be used?
I dissolved `PCMX` (Product Name) in `Ethyl Alcohol` until it was completely clear. However, when I added it to water, it clumped up as shown in the picture. I then tried dissolving it in `Propylene Gylcol` until it dissolved well, but when mixed with water, the same precipitation issue occurred. * What is causing this? * Can this issue be resolved? * I need advice on how to mix it with water to use as a disinfectant, similar to Dettol.
I would like to make liquid hand soap with alcohol. Based on the recommended adult liquid soap example: * Sulfate Free Shampoo Base (pH 7, Clear, Foaming) 35% * น้ำกลั่น 64% * สารกันเสีย 1% If I want to add more moisturizing ingredients for the skin, which ones should I use? Alternatively, if I use an oil-based formula like this: Liquid soap with Fractionated Coconut Oil mixed with Jojoba Oil and Vitamin E, clear texture, suitable for dry, easily irritated skin. * Oil Soap™ 45% * Fractionated Coconut Oil 46% * Jojoba Oil 5% * Vitamin E Acetate 1% * Oil Blender 3% (necessary in the formula to prevent separation) Can this be used as a substitute? Also, if I want a liquid soap that retains moisturizing properties and the feel of alcohol, meaning using แอลกอฮอล์ + Sulfate Free Shampoo Base + น้ำกลั่น + สารกันเสีย + Vitamin E Acetate + aloevera extract, is this possible? If so, what proportions should I use? Thank you very much.
What can I use as a substitute for `carbopol ultrez 30` that provides a similar gel texture and properties, such as ease of use, electrolyte tolerance, and effectiveness in a wide pH range?
