Product Description:
Used primarily as a coalescing agent in water-based latex paints and coatings. It helps the polymer particles flow together and fuse into a continuous film at lower temperatures, improving film formation and enhancing the durability and appearance of the finished coating. Due to its low volatility and high efficiency, it extends the working time of the paint while ensuring strong adhesion and a smooth finish. Also found in some printing inks and adhesives where effective coalescence and low odor are required.
