Product Description:
Used as a catalyst in various organic reactions, particularly in coupling reactions such as the Ullmann reaction, where it facilitates the formation of carbon-carbon bonds. Commonly employed in the synthesis of pharmaceuticals, agrochemicals, and fine chemicals. Acts as a reagent in the Sandmeyer reaction for the preparation of aryl halides from diazonium salts. Utilized in electroless copper plating processes due to its ability to reduce and deposit metallic copper on surfaces. Applied in the production of dyes and pigments as a stabilizer or color modifier. Found in some wood preservatives and antifouling coatings because of its biocidal properties. Also used in gas absorption processes to remove carbon monoxide from gas mixtures due to its ability to form complexes with CO.
