Super-HYA™ (Sodium Acetylated Hyaluronate, AcHA)
Acetyl-modified hyaluronic acid powder with improved skin affinity for lightweight anti-aging hydration formulas.
Super-HYA™ is Sodium Acetylated Hyaluronate, an acetyl-modified hyaluronic acid powder.
Partial acetyl substitution gives the molecule both hydrophilic and lipophilic character, improving skin affinity compared with ordinary water-only hyaluronic acid grades.
The molecular weight is about 10-20K Da, making it suitable for light anti-aging hydration formulas.
Product Description: Use Super-HYA™ when the formula needs a low-use-level hyaluronic acid derivative with strong skin affinity, lightweight hydration and a soft after-feel. The acetylated structure supports better interaction with both water-rich and lipid-rich areas of the stratum corneum.
COA specification includes white to light yellow powder or granules, clear solution appearance, pH 5.0-7.0 and limiting viscosity 0.50-2.80 dL/g.
Usage: Suitable for serum, essence, toner, gel, lotion, cream, eye care, anti-aging hydration and premium moisturising formulas.
Mixing method:
- Add into the water phase and mix until dissolved.
- Use room-temperature or mildly warm water if needed; avoid unnecessary high heat.
- Maintain final formula pH about 3-9.
Usage rate: 0.01-0.1%.
Product characteristics: White powder.
Solubility: Water soluble at room temperature.
Storage: Keep tightly closed in a cool, dry place away from heat and sunlight.
