SelectSorb™ is a special type of PMMA (Poly(methyl methacrylate)) that has a high absorption of oil (specific to the skin) and does not absorb water.

The highlights of the adsorption characteristics are summarized as follows:

1. It does not dry out the skin because it does not absorb water (unlike other oil absorbent powders that absorb water).

2. Selective absorption of excess serum oil rather than other oils used in the formula (selective absorption), so it is suitable to be used in any formula. Even though there is oil in the SelectSorb™ formula, it will still selectively absorb the oils that are mainly caused by the skin.

Oil absorption rate: 150ml / 100g (or 1.5 times its own weight)

Powder size: 8 microns

Usage: For any product that needs to adjust skin feel, absorb oil, reduce skin oiliness.

Mixing method: Mix in the final step by blending until it is dispersed in the formula. Can withstand heat.

Usage rate: 1-5%. Usage amount depends on desired efficiency.

Product appearance: white powder

Dissolving: Can be dispersed in any formula in the final step, provided the formula contains an oil component.
