Product Description:
Used as an anticaking agent in table salt and road deicing salts to prevent clumping and ensure free-flowing properties. Employed in the production of pigments and dyes, particularly in the synthesis of Prussian blue, which has applications in paints, inks, and artist colors. Utilized in metallurgy for zinc and cadmium electroplating processes, where it helps form stable complexes in plating baths. Applied in the food industry as a clarifying agent in wine and beer production. Also used in analytical chemistry for determination of potassium ions and in some photographic processes. Considered low in toxicity under normal conditions due to its poor absorption and stability in the body.
