Product Description:
Used in the treatment of autoimmune diseases such as systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE) and other B-cell-mediated disorders. It selectively targets CD19, a protein expressed on B cells, leading to the depletion of pathogenic B cells while preserving plasma cells and early B cell precursors. This mechanism helps reduce autoimmune activity with potentially fewer side effects compared to broad immunosuppressants. Currently under clinical investigation to evaluate long-term efficacy and safety in modulating B cell function.
