Product Description:
Used in targeted cancer therapy, particularly for gastrointestinal malignancies such as colorectal cancer. Binds specifically to CEACAM5 (carcinoembryonic antigen), which is overexpressed on tumor cells, enabling immune-mediated destruction through antibody-dependent cellular cytotoxicity (ADCC) and complement-dependent cytotoxicity (CDC). Investigated in combination with other immunotherapies to enhance antitumor response. Also utilized as a reference standard in immunoassay development and diagnostic testing to evaluate binding affinity and specificity of novel anti-CEACAM5 agents.
