Product Description:
Used as a high-performance silicone fluid in heat transfer systems due to its wide liquid range and thermal stability. Commonly found in specialty lubricants and damping fluids where low volatility and resistance to extreme temperatures are required. Frequently used in optical applications, such as lenses and encapsulants, because of its transparency and refractive index control. Also employed in coatings and release agents for molds, offering excellent release properties and surface finish. Widely used in microfluidic device fabrication (e.g., PDMS-based chips) when enhanced mechanical strength or altered surface properties are needed compared to standard PDMS. Its gas permeability makes it suitable for membrane applications in sensors and separation technologies.
