Product Description:
Used as a high-performance ultraviolet (UV) absorber in coatings, plastics, and adhesives. It provides excellent protection against UV degradation by absorbing harmful radiation in the 300–400 nm range, particularly effective in stabilizing materials exposed to prolonged sunlight. Commonly added to automotive clear coats, industrial paints, and polymer films to prevent yellowing, gloss loss, and mechanical deterioration. Also utilized in combination with other stabilizers like hindered amine light stabilizers (HALS) for synergistic effects. Shows good thermal stability and compatibility with a variety of resin systems, making it suitable for demanding outdoor applications.
