Its excellent thermal stability and wide energy bandgap make it ideal for efficient electron and exciton confinement, enhancing device efficiency and lifespan. Commonly employed in multilayer OLED structures to support blue emitters, it helps achieve high external quantum efficiency and low efficiency roll-off. Also explored in thermally activated delayed fluorescence (TADF) devices due to its strong triplet energy level and good charge transport properties.
