Product Description:
Used as a corrosion inhibitor in industrial lubricants and metalworking fluids due to its strong affinity for metal surfaces. Forms a protective hydrophobic layer that prevents moisture and corrosive agents from reaching the metal. Also serves as an intermediate in the synthesis of quaternary ammonium compounds used in biocides and surfactants. Employed in the formulation of specialty coatings and anti-static agents for polymers. Its long hydrocarbon chains provide excellent water repellency and thermal stability in high-temperature applications.
