Product Description: Used primarily as a precursor in the synthesis of germanium-containing materials, especially in the production of germanium dioxide (GeO₂) thin films via sol-gel processes or chemical vapor deposition (CVD). These films are applied in optical fibers to modify refractive index and enhance transmission efficiency. Also utilized in the preparation of hybrid organic-inorganic coatings with good thermal and mechanical stability.
