Product Description:
Used in histology to selectively stain acidic polysaccharides, particularly glycosaminoglycans (GAGs) in cartilage tissue. The solution binds to sulfate and carboxyl groups in chondroitin sulfate and keratan sulfate, enabling clear visualization of cartilage matrix under microscopic examination.
