Product Description:
Used primarily in metal surface treatment processes, especially for the preparation of titanium and aluminum alloys. It forms a thin, stable fluoride layer that enhances paint adhesion and corrosion resistance. Commonly applied in aerospace and automotive industries for pretreatment before coating or painting. Also utilized in the production of other fluorotitanate compounds and in some cases as an etching agent for glass and ceramics. Its strong acidic and fluorinating properties make it effective in cleaning and activating metal surfaces prior to further processing.
